Gym & Dance Evening 2015!

Y11 & Y10 Mock Exams from Monday 9th March

​Y11 students will be taking a mock paper in English Language and 2 papers in Maths. Y10 students will be taking a mock for English Literature. Your son/daughter will receive preparation materials from their class teachers.

February Half Term!

​Dinnington High School will close today (Friday 13th) at 3.15pm for the February Half term break. School will re-open on Monday 23rd of February at 8.35 am to begin the new term. We hope you all have a nice, relaxing break! Stay safe.

Congratulations Dinnington!

We are very proud to announce that Dinnington High School has been awarded £5000 in the Key Stage 4 Category of the Pupil Premium Awards 2015! We have been recognised by the Department of Education as one of the most improved schools in the country in terms of attainment and value- added progress of our Pupil Premium students since 2011. We are the only school In Rotherham to be awarded a prize, along with 11 other schools in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
We would like to thank all students, parents and staff for the continuous support and hard work.

Winter Weather Notice Friday 30th January 2015

Dinnington Comprehensive School is open as normal on Friday the 30th of January 2015.

​Normal opening times apply for all students and staff.

FOA Parents/Carers, Staff and Students

​Due to the Forecast snow fall throughout this evening the bus companies have informed us that tomorrow (Thursday 29th of January), if it has snowed, will pick up from normal stops 2 hours later than normal schedule.  School will therefore start at 10.30am for all students. Registration will begin at 10.30am until 11am and the normal school day will run from 11am.

If it does not snow then Buses will run to the normal schedule and school will begin as normal with registration 8.35am.

Please check the school website and our social media pages in the morning in case this message has been updated.
