Remissions

For those pupils whose parents receive Income Support or Family Credit the board and lodging costs of a residential visit will be remitted if:

• The activity takes place during school hours, or
• The activity takes place outside school hours but is necessary for one of the following reasons:-

1. To fulfil any requirements specified in the syllabus for a prescribed public examination, or
2. To fulfil statutory duties relating to the National Curriculum, or
3. To fulfil statutory duties relating to Religious Education.
